Revival is a Master’s thesis collection created in the spring of 2022 that explores the nature of stylistic reinterpretations and revivals, with a thematic focus on English Victorian medievalism.

The collection is guided by the nature and context of stylistic revivals and the ongoing dialogue between the past and the present: the past influences the present, and the present continually reinterprets and recontextualises the past. The project translates these ideas into a physical design outcome through handmade woven jacquard and printed fabrics, second‑hand materials, and bespoke surface design. The accompanying written thesis was treated as a design object in itself, with graphic design and layout choices echoing the collection’s visual language.
